Privacy Policy

Isekai Distribution LLC ("Isekai Distribution," "we," "us") is a wholesale distributor of anime merchandise serving United States retailers. This Policy explains how we handle personal information we collect from the business contacts at our wholesale accounts β€” the owners, buyers, and staff authorized to transact with us.

We are not a consumer retailer. Personal information on this Site is collected from business contacts in the course of opening an account, placing orders, and administering the wholesale relationship.

Information we collect

To open and operate a wholesale account we collect business contact details (name, work email, work phone), business information (company name, business role of the contact, business address, and tax identifier where applicable), order and payment records (purchase orders, bank account details used for wire transfers, and order history), and account authentication records (email address and a cryptographic hash of the chosen password; session and device information generated when you sign in).

To operate and secure the Site we automatically collect standard request metadata β€” IP address, browser type, and pages viewed while signed in β€” used for security, fraud prevention, and operational analytics.

We collect this information directly from the business contact at registration, from the business itself when it updates account details, from service providers in the course of fulfilling orders, and from public business registries when we verify a new account.

We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by California law (such as government identifiers, precise geolocation, financial account credentials, health data, or biometric data) beyond what is strictly necessary to operate the wholesale relationship and comply with law.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Verify and approve wholesale accounts, and administer the account over time.
  • Process purchase orders, reconcile wire-transfer payments, and arrange shipment.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide support to our buyers.
  • Prevent fraud and abuse, secure the Site, and investigate suspected misuse.
  • Comply with tax, accounting, import/export, and other legal obligations.
  • Send transactional and operational communications about your account and orders.
  • Improve and develop the Site and the wholesale service.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use personal information for targeted advertising or for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out of sale and sharing β€” because we do not sell or share, the signal has no effective change in handling but is respected.

Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers acting on our behalf under written contract, and only to the extent they need the information to perform their services. These service providers include a payment processor, shipping carriers, and a transactional email provider. Each is required to handle the information in accordance with this Policy and applicable law.

We may disclose information when required by legal process or when necessary to protect our rights, the rights of our buyers, or the security of the Site. In the event of a corporate transaction (merger, acquisition, or sale of assets), personal information may transfer to the successor, subject to the protections of this Policy.

Retention

We retain account records for the life of the wholesale account plus a reasonable period afterward β€” up to four years, aligned to the longest applicable U.S. state statute of limitations on commercial contracts. Order, payment, and tax-related records are retained for at least seven years to satisfy United States federal and state tax record-keeping obligations. Support correspondence is retained for up to three years. Security, session, and fraud-prevention logs are retained on a rolling 90-day basis unless extended for an active investigation. When retention expires we delete the information or render it de-identified.

Your rights

A business contact of a wholesale account may request:

  • A copy of the personal information we hold about them.
  • Correction of inaccurate information.
  • Deletion of personal information we hold, to the extent deletion is consistent with our tax and legal record-keeping obligations.
  • A portable copy of the information provided to us directly.
  • Confirmation that we are not selling or sharing personal information (we are not).

Requests can be sent to [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy Rights Request." We verify the requester's identity against the information we hold, respond within 45 days, and may extend the response period by an additional 45 days where necessary, notifying you in that case. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf; we may ask the agent for written authorization and may verify identity directly with you.

You will not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights.

California residents

California law grants the rights described above under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act. The California Privacy Protection Agency publishes further information at cppa.ca.gov.

Other U.S. state residents

Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Florida, Oregon, and several other states have data-protection rights under their respective state laws. Most of those laws exclude personal data processed in a commercial or employment context, which covers the majority of what we hold for the wholesale relationship. Where state law does not obligate a response, we still honor access, correction, and deletion requests from business contacts on a good-faith basis using the channel above.

Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, and disclosure. Account credentials are stored as salted cryptographic hashes. Administrative access requires multi-factor authentication. Backups are encrypted. We regularly review our access controls and service-provider arrangements.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach of personal information affecting wholesale-account contacts occurs, we will notify affected individuals and, where required, regulators in accordance with applicable state laws.

Children

The Site is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Wholesale accounts are held by businesses and their authorized adult representatives.
